Meet The Team

From a young age, Matthew knew he wanted to make a difference through craftsmanship. His interest began at age 9 when he watched his dad add an addition to their home. He was fascinated by the plumbing work and loved the idea of doing something hands-on that truly impacts lives. After attending Somerset Technical High School for plumbing and taking night classes for his license, he gained over 10 years of experience working with a plumbing company during high school. In 2016, Matthew earned his plumbing license and founded Above and Beyond, all before turning 30.

Mike is a lead journeyman technician covering both plumbing and heating. He completed his plumbing training in 2023 and is preparing to sit for his master plumber license. Working with the team since July 2021, Mike enjoys boiler work and water heater installation. Outside of work, you’ll find him riding his Harley, fishing, or playing the drums. Fun fact: he initially wanted to be an electrician, but the class was full, he’s a valuable asset to Above and Beyond!

Bryan is a lead heating and plumbing journeyman with the credentials to obtain his master license. Joined the team in 2024, he aims to become a leader alongside Matt, helping to train new and current colleagues to reach their full potential. He also manages estimates and works closely with Matt on new construction projects. When off-duty, Bryan loves building and remodeling motorcycles and cars.

David made a career switch from tech sales and a business degree from Rowan University to pursue hands-on work in plumbing. Enrolled in Bergen County Technical School’s plumbing apprenticeship, he’s dedicated to earning his master license and eventually owning his own company. A quick learner, he helps in all areas of plumbing and heating. Outside of work, David enjoys playing pickleball and golf.

Joined this year and quickly became a favorite among clients, Mike thrives on making a difference, putting his hands-on skills and problem-solving talent into every job. Off the clock, he enjoys spending time with friends, always bringing positive energy and a commitment to excellence.

Joined in June 2025, Troy is an experienced plumbing and heating tech known for his dedication and great customer service. He enjoys diagnosing and fixing complex issues and has made a significant impact on the team so far. When not working, Troy loves exploring new adventures with his wife and hitting the golf course.

Part of the team since day one, Tiffany transitioned from education to join her husband Matt in both fieldwork and office duties. She wears many hats, supporting the company and caring for her daughter, Alassandra. Matt considers her the heart and soul of Above & Beyond, balancing career, home, and fieldwork, all with a smile. A highlight of her work was helping hang hundreds of feet of gas piping for a commercial project.
